Adult Beginners

A combination or in-depth instructions and cardio workout tennis drills for Beginners.
Designed for players with little or no exposure to tennis. Players will get an indepth understanding of different stroke production and grips through progressions.

Please make sure to note the changes: in day's and hours of operation monthly or seasonal, number of classes per week offered, rate differences etc. as you sign up for classes. For your convenience the schedule for a full year has been created in advance, with children's wake up time, parent and child's work and school schedule and day light savings time changes in mind.

DESCRIPTION

A highly technical "OCTAGON METHOD" is introduced to learn proper grips on Forehands, backhands, volleys and serves. Rallying the ball is emphasized on a mini tennis court situation which progresses into the graduated length method in a full court environment.
Cardio Workout drills are always a fun part of the program, which allows players to hit a lot of balls. You will definitely improve your game as you will be hitting a lot of balls and repeating various shots. We will monitor your heart rate at intervals, so you stay within individualized aerobic target training zones.
Larger specialty foam balls called "Spinners" are also used for higher rate of contact and consistency both in mini tennis and full court games and during warm up and cool down drills.
Scoring, singles and doubles games are introduced and match play follows, making it a fun team and individual experience.
