Registration and payments and liability forms must be received by the 25th of the month prior to the 1 month or 3 months,
you are signing up for.
Anything mailed or postmarked after the 25th is subject to late fee without any exceptions. Liability forms need to be filled out only once each year.
A student must take 3 months consecutive classes in order to be evaluated to go to the next level. Every student grows at their own pace and the instructor
always keeps an eye and evaluates each kid.
For players who have graduated from Future Star 1, have learned the proper Octagon grip techniques and
have been introduced to the
correct forms. These students are considered advanced beginners and have been grouped together to prepare for Future Star level 2.
Some rained out classes we will watch high level tennis video's and "Prince of tennis" a Japanese cartoon series about youngsters developing tennis through
matchplay. This is a popcorn and drinks and snacks event :-) Coach Aruna will notify you if this event will take place.

DESCRIPTION
Proper grips using the highly technical "OCTAGON METHOD" is continued. Maintaining long rally's on forehands and
backhands is re-emphasized. PTR's graduated length methodology teaches the students how to skillfully and
consistently move from mini court to 3/4 court and then to the full court length. Serves, volleys, overheads are
combined and regular singles and doubles scoring and match play is taught.. Fun and challenging, team and
individual games keep the children interested. Fitness and conditioning, cross training drills are key at this level,
with the use of ladders and donuts and other tools. Court etiquette and winning and losing gracefully is enhanced.
Improved players will be moved to the Intermediate to Advanced level - "All Star".
At the end of each season (3 month) they get a little gift for their hard work.
The instructor always emphasizes that a student's biggest reward is their progress (no matter how small or big).
To just be outdoors and active and build good hand eye coordination with a sport like tennis is a health benefit in and
of itself. Important factor is that always choose a program and an instructor that a child really enjoys no matter what
sport you pick, then they will more likely be able to choose a sport and grow to love it.
